Yas Island Theme Park Ride Height & Age Guide (2026)

Every parent visiting Yas Island has the same panic at every gate: is my kid tall enough? The official park sites bury the heights inside individual ride pages. Ticket-affiliate blogs are often outdated. We built this single-page reference so you can plan before you even leave the apartment.

Heights below are based on the most recent published park information at the time of writing. Always re-check at the ride entrance — parks adjust requirements occasionally for safety updates. We update this page after each visit.

Under 90 cm (toddlers): Most thrill rides off-limits, but plenty to enjoy. Yas Waterworld has Cinesplash, Al Raha River (lazy river), Yadi Yas (kids' splash zone), and Amwaj Wave Pool with adult. Warner Bros. World has Cartoon Junction Carousel (32 inches / ~81 cm) and several kid rides starting at 80 cm. Ferrari World has Junior GT, Bell'Italia, and most kids' zone attractions. SeaWorld is mostly walk-through exhibits with no height limits.

90-110 cm: Opens up significantly. Yas Waterworld now has Dawwama Junior (90 cm), Al Mafras (90 cm), Bandit Bomber (100 cm). Warner Bros. World has Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure (1.05 m) and most family rides. Ferrari World has most family rides accessible.

110-130 cm: Bigger family rides open. Yas Waterworld has Slither Slides (110 cm), Rush Rider (110 cm), Liwa Loop (120 cm). Warner Bros. World has most thrill-lite roller coasters at 1.20 m typical threshold. Ferrari World has family roller coasters and the F1 Simulator at 1.30 m.

130 cm and up: The big stuff opens. Yas Waterworld's Dawwama, the headline tornado ride, requires 130 cm. Ferrari World's F1 2.0 Simulator and Ferrari F430 GT Simulator both require 1.50 m.

140 cm and up: The headline thrills. Ferrari World's Formula Rossa requires minimum 1.40 m, maximum 1.95 m, weight max 100 kg. World's fastest coaster at 240 km/h.
